Princes Pier documents the weathered wooden pilings of Melbourne's historic structure extending into still water, their uniform geometry creating a rhythmic visual cadence across the frame. Set against a pastel sunset with soft pinks and muted golds, the aged timber posts assert their architectural presence through repetition and tonal contrast. The composition emphasises the interplay between human infrastructure and natural light, where the pier's linear order meets the diffuse warmth of descending day. This fine art print captures the poignant beauty of industrial heritage, rendered with chromatic restraint and contemplative stillness.

WHITE BORDER VS FULL BLEED
Prints with a white border provide a greater sense of space, breathing room and can offer a more refined look. If you intend to frame the print with or without a mat; having a border and the extra space means the frame and mat won't cover the edges of the image as much or at all.
Full bleed printing is when the image covers the paper from edge to edge without any borders or margins. When you frame your print, the frame can act as a border but will overlap and cover the edges of the image (typically 1/4" on all sides).
FRAMED VS UNFRAMED
Unframed prints are shipped as just the print, ready to be hung at home with a frame of your own choice. Framed prints come with the print pre-framed in a premium black, wooden frame, with a white mounting. Choose the framed option for maximum convenience.
